Private Residence • Greenleaf, WI • 11/06/09

On Friday, November 6, 2009, Tim, Troy, Cassie and Sharon met at a private residence in rural Greenleaf, Wisconsin.

The family contacted Fox Cities Paranormal Team after experiencing what they thought to be paranormal activity in the home.

Some of the claims were:

• Sounds of objects being moved in the storage area in the basement.
• The closet door in one of the downstairs bedrooms opening by itself
• The door going into the upstairs bedroom off of the living room had been observed closing and locking by itself.
• The occupant of the upstairs bedroom explained that she feels someone or something laying down beside her in her bed.

The team set up infrared cameras in the hot spot areas: storage room, downstairs bedroom, upstairs living room area, and upstairs bedroom. We did a complete EMF sweep of both the upstairs and downstairs. During the sweep it was found that some areas upstairs had high EMF readings. Down stairs the readings were within normal range.

Early into the investigation Troy, Cassie and Sharon headed down to the storage area to do an EVP session and during the session Cassie said she saw something move from her right to left. At that same moment the video camera went completely out of focus. This can occur when moving the camera, but in this instance the camera was already focused and wasn't being moved. Cassie and Troy, who were standing inside the room, suddenly got chilled to the point where the hair was standing up on their arms, legs, and neck.

Other than the movement and chills experienced by Troy and Cassie and the video, there were no other personal experiences or evidence to support that the residence is haunted.

The resident has indicated to us that she would like for us to come back and do a follow-up investigation. Shortly after this update, the family moved to another location.
