Private Residence • Chilton, WI • 01/23/10

On January 23, 2010 Fox Cities Paranormal Team investigated a private residence in Chilton, WI. This investigation would prove to be our most active investigating to date. The home is 135 years old. The claims of activity include pounding on walls, physical contact, the disembodied laugh of a child, and a full bodied apparition witnessed by three different people on three separate occasions.

The owners of the house gave a tour of the home indicating the hot spots. We then proceeded to set up our video and audio equipment. Tim was doing a follow up run thru with Cassie in the basement when she saw a partial apparition – a face. After seeing the face, we wasted no time getting the night underway.

The first EVP session took place in the narrow room in the basement, where Cassie had seen the face. Jamie, Tim and Sharon had just started the session when they heard what they thought was a fellow team member coming down the stairs. Shortly after hearing the footsteps Tim saw a shadow person leave the room. That was followed by both Tim and Jamie seeing the infrared camera light being completely blocked by something passing in front of it. As the EVP session continued Tim felt something grab his wrist. Later in the evening Tim and Todd were in the basement area and Tim saw a face and at that moment heard a scream.

Throughout the evening the basement proved to be the most active. During review of audio evidence Jamie discovered the sound of footsteps and the creaking sound of the basement door. There was no one in the basement at the time the sounds were made. We caught EVP's throughout the evening. On the second floor of the home we captured a voice telling us to, "Go home". Another EVP seems to say "murder". One of the stories of this home revolves around a possible rape and murder of a young boy by his foster father.

It was an amazing investigation. We have been asked by the owners to come back and continue to collect more evidence. The family is not scared by the activity in the home. They just want to learn as much as they can about the unknown entities they share their home with.
