The home owner contacted Fox Cities Paranormal Team with a request for an investigation. What made their situation a priority is the fact that they have a toddler.

The activity was described as taking place in the living room where a toy was going off by itself, and on the second floor in the child's room where a toy was placed in the doorway and the blankets were found at the head of the bed. The blanket on top of the child is understandable, but she was also laying on one. That was all that was reported to us.

Upon arriving at the location we did a quick walk through. We checked the main floor and upstairs before heading into the basement. Cassie, Tim and Sharon walked into a room off the main area of the basement and all three had the hair on their arms and neck stand up and a chill run through them. After setting up our equipment we started our investigation in the living room. We focused our attention on the riding toy that makes music and lights up. It was easy to set off the toy by stepping near it or dropping a book from several feet away.

The home owner reported that when he went into the room to check on his daughter the doorway was clear. When he turned around Elmo was in the middle of the doorway.

The home owner reported the toy at left going off by itself. We tested to see if we could make it go off, and we did but you had to be near it.

The photo at right shows the doorway where Cassie, Tim and Sharon felt cold chills and had the hair stand up one their arms and neck.

We set up the K2 meter and did an EMF sweep. There were no high readings found anywhere in the basement. We proceeded to do an EVP session. Tim and Cassie watched a shadow move in the area of the room where we had all been affected with chills. They described it as being about 3 feet tall. Later in the evening Tim was standing by the pool table and said that there was some kind of an animal standing next to him. It was pitch black in the basement, yet he went on to describe the animal as having four legs, and white in color.

Monday morning Sharon contacted the client. Sharon asked her how she felt about her basement. The reply was, "I hate my basement. It freaks me out!" Sharon proceeded to explain some of the things they had felt and described what Tim saw in the basement. She explained that when she was younger she had a big German Shepard, a white German Shepard. The dog lived to be 15 or 16 years old, and she went on to explain that she has always felt that the dog is still with her. This seemed to us to be much more than a coincidence.
