Blue Door • Kewaunee, WI • 09/06/11

On September 6th, a small group of FCPT team members headed to the Blue Door for an investigation. Tim, Todd, Cassie & Amy were present. We set up all 4 DVR cameras, a motion activated Infrared still camera, and a total of 6 audio recorders. This investigation yielded nothing in the way of evidence, but an interesting personal experience was in store for Tim. As we investigated a room we have dubbed "Todd's room" (due to it being where he had his 1st paranormal experience), Tim started to report that he felt something touching him repeatedly. At the time, he was sitting down in the middle of the floor, so it didn't appear that anything was brushing up against him in any way. It continued to the point that it became annoying, and he decided it couldn't possibly be paranormal and perhaps we needed a break. After a 10-15 minute break, we headed back down to the same room. Tim stood in the center of the room (where he had been sitting). All seemed to be back to normal. We continued investigating the room and as time wore on, Tim sat back down. It wasn't long before he started complaining of the annoying sensation he'd felt earlier. Irritated, he stood back up and it immediately stopped. We made the connection right away. It only occurred when he was sitting. For further confirmation of this, we had him sit once more. And again, the sensation returned. We theorized that perhaps it was a child spirit trying to get his attention and they were too short to reach him when he stood up. Or perhaps they were intimidated by him when he stood. Playing off this theory, Tim tried to talk to it and reason with it. He acknowledged that it was there and let it know he had felt it's repeated touching. He went a step further and told the spirit to please stop and find another way to communicate. We got no confirmation that the spirit heard his pleas, but Tim was able to sit on the floor for the remainder of the evening without any further problems.
